Meet Tim Cotter, founder of Love Your Values
I'm passionate about supporting you to gain greater insight into your values, and to take actions that help you thrive in life, work and love.
For the past three decades, I’ve had the good fortune to work with thousands of people seeking to make change in their lives. Some were seeking to be happier at work. Some were trying to find balance and joy in their lives. And others were wanting to make a greater contribution to the world around them.
In this work, nothing has had greater impact than helping people name and connect with their personal values, often for the first time. While most people have a sense of what is important to them, and can feel when something is not quite right, bringing this to the surface allows them to make deliberate decisions from a place of greater self-awareness.
Raised on a farm in New Zealand, I nevertheless knew early on that psychology would be my lifelong passion. After completing my education and early career in New Zealand, I relocated to Melbourne, Australia, where I have lived for the past 2 decades.
Aside from my fascination with human values, I am passionate about environmental sustainability, an area where I have also developed unique assessment tools and training services over the years.
When I'm not working to support clarity and alignment, you can find me living my other values through hiking and swimming in nature, enjoying simple and nourishing food, and enjoying all types of music from blues to opera.
